Cookie Policy

moonbrush.com uses a small set of cookies: strictly necessary ones that run the site, plus analytics and marketing cookies that load only if you accept them. You can accept, reject or choose by category, change your mind at any time, and a Global Privacy Control signal keeps marketing cookies off automatically.

About this policy

This policy explains how Moonbrush Inc. (“Moonbrush,” “we,” “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on moonbrush.com. It supplements our Privacy Notice, which explains how we handle personal information.

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in much the same way. In this policy, “cookies” covers both.

Our approach

  • Nothing non-essential loads before you choose. When you first visit, only strictly necessary cookies are active. Analytics and marketing scripts do not load, and set no cookies, until you accept them.
  • Equal choices. Our cookie banner offers Accept all, Reject all and Choose, with equal prominence. Choose lets you turn analytics and marketing on or off separately.
  • No advertising cookies. We do not use advertising cookies on moonbrush.com.
  • Your choice is remembered for 12 months, and you can change it at any time.

Categories of cookies

Strictly necessary

These cookies make the site work and keep it secure. They do not require consent, and you cannot switch them off in our banner.

  • Your consent record. We store your cookie choices in your browser as a first-party cookie or local storage key named mb_consent, for 12 months.
  • Security and load balancing. Our website host, Netlify, may set cookies needed to deliver the site securely and reliably.

Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use moonbrush.com, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalization. Google Analytics 4 truncates IP addresses under its default settings and uses them only to estimate approximate location, such as city or region.

Marketing

With your consent, we use HubSpot’s tracking code to record your visits to moonbrush.com. If you later submit a form on our site, this lets us attribute your submission to the visits that led to it. We do not use these cookies to show you advertising.

Our contact form. The form on our contact page is provided by HubSpot. Loading it connects your browser to HubSpot’s servers, and HubSpot stores what you submit on our behalf. HubSpot’s marketing cookies listed below are set only if you accept marketing cookies.

Changing your choices

You can change your choices at any time:

  • select Your Privacy Choices in the footer of any page; or
  • select the Cookie settings button.

If you withdraw consent, the related scripts stop loading straight away and we delete the cookies they set on moonbrush.com, as far as your browser allows a site to do so. You can also delete cookies yourself, as described below.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we honor it automatically. We treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information, marketing cookies stay off, and the site shows a status confirming that your request was honored. You can still choose whether to allow analytics cookies.

Our Privacy Notice explains how we apply a GPC signal.

Deleting cookies in your browser

Most browsers let you see and delete cookies and site data in their privacy or security settings. You can delete cookies for moonbrush.com only, or for all sites.

  • Chrome: open Settings, then Privacy and security, then the option to delete browsing data or manage third-party cookies and site data.
  • Safari: open Settings (or Preferences), then Privacy, then Manage Website Data.
  • Firefox: open Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Cookies and Site Data.
  • Edge: open Settings, then Privacy, search, and services, then the option to clear browsing data.

Menu names change from time to time. Your browser’s help pages have current instructions. If you delete the mb_consent cookie or key, we will ask for your choices again on your next visit.

Changes to this policy

When we change the cookies we use, we update this policy and the date at the top.
