Careers
The people who join now will shape what Moonbrush becomes.
Moonbrush helps brands and institutions reach the people most likely to act, and shows clients what actually happened. We run campaigns for clients across higher education, healthcare and beyond, on a platform we built ourselves. We’re a small, early team, working remotely across Canada and the United States.

Head of Data and Behavioral Modeling
We’re looking for our first data leader: someone fascinated by why people do what they do, and skilled at turning that into models that hold up in the real world. You’ll shape how Moonbrush understands people, from the data we work with to the models our clients’ campaigns are built on. It’s a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building as much as leading, and who wants real ownership early.
What you’ll do
- Lead our behavioral modeling: develop, test and improve the models at the heart of our platform.
- Help our models learn from real campaign results, and turn what we learn into clear recommendations for clients.
- Set the standard for model quality, and decide what’s ready for client work.
- Lead our data partnerships: evaluate new sources and partners, and make sure we use data responsibly and within the terms we’ve agreed to.
- Work closely with product and engineering to bring new data and modeling capabilities into the platform.
What you’ll bring
- Deep experience building behavioral or propensity models on consumer data.
- A strong grounding in behavioral science, through training or practice.
- Experience at a company where data products or modeled audiences were the core business.
- Fluency with data partners and licensing, and a careful approach to consent and privacy.
- Hands-on skills in SQL, Python and a modern cloud data warehouse.
- The ability to explain complex work clearly to technical and non-technical people alike.
Nice to have
- Experience with healthcare or other regulated data.
- Experience with identity resolution or audience data.
- Time at an early-stage company.
Senior Software Engineer, Platform
You’ll be one of our first engineers, working directly with our Chief Product and Technology Officer to make the Moonbrush platform enterprise-grade: secure, reliable and ready to grow with our clients. You’ll have broad ownership across the product and the data infrastructure behind it.
What you’ll do
- Security and reliability. Strengthen how we protect client data, monitor our systems and recover when things go wrong, and partner with clients’ security teams through their reviews.
- Data infrastructure. Keep the pipelines our product depends on fast, dependable and well monitored.
- Engineering foundations. Improve how we build, test and ship.
- Client integrations. Work with clients and partners to connect their systems to ours.
What you’ll bring
- Experience shipping production systems used by enterprise clients, including working through their security reviews.
- Strong backend engineering, and comfort working in data pipelines. We work in Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python and Spark.
- The ability to get up to speed in a large codebase quickly.
- Daily use of AI coding tools, with a sharp eye for reviewing what they produce.
- Comfort working through technical problems directly with clients, and a habit of writing things down.
Nice to have
- Experience in marketing technology, advertising technology or identity resolution.
- Experience with healthcare data.
- Time at an early-stage company.
Vice President of Client Success
You’ll own every client relationship after the sale: retention, renewal, growth and escalation. You’ll start by managing our client accounts yourself, then build and lead the Client Success team that takes them on as we grow. It’s a senior, hands-on role for someone who has kept enterprise clients renewing and expanding, and who wants to build the team that does it.
What you’ll do
- Team leadership. Lead the Client Success team through hiring, onboarding, training, coaching and day-to-day management, and own its playbooks and training.
- Enterprise accounts. Be the senior relationship owner for our largest clients: quarterly business reviews, success plans, executive relationships, and reporting on results and account health.
- Delivery. Bring together product, data, delivery and sales to deliver on each account, and keep every account’s plan and timeline current.
- Renewals and growth. Own renewals end to end, from forecasting well ahead to closing on time, and find and close upsell and expansion opportunities across the book.
- Escalation. Be the point of escalation for every client account, and keep client records, health scores and renewal dates accurate in our CRM.
- Reporting. Report weekly on account health, renewals at risk and the upsell pipeline, and monthly on revenue under management and retention.
What you’ll bring
- Several years leading client success or account management for enterprise clients, including managing a team.
- A track record of renewing and growing accounts, measured in retention and expansion revenue.
- Experience with data, analytics, marketing technology or advertising services.
- The confidence to run executive relationships and business reviews, and to deliver difficult news well.
- Comfort coordinating technical teams, and a habit of keeping forecasts and records accurate.
Nice to have
- Experience with healthcare, higher education or agency clients.
- Experience building a client success function from the ground up.
- Time at an early-stage company.
Senior Account Executive
You’ll own a book of our pharmaceutical client accounts after the sale: onboarding, delivery, renewals and growth. You’ll be the person brand teams and their agencies call, and you’ll make sure every engagement is measured against a holdout and reported in terms their review teams accept. It’s a senior, hands-on role for someone who knows how pharma marketing works and wants to grow accounts built on results.
What you’ll do
- Own a book of pharmaceutical client accounts, as the day-to-day lead for brand teams and their agencies.
- Onboard new clients: set up their data, agree the decision each engagement serves, and agree the holdout before launch.
- Run quarterly business reviews that report results against the holdout, in terms medical, legal and regulatory reviewers accept.
- Find and close renewals and expansion across your accounts.
- Bring together our data, delivery and product teams to deliver on each account’s plan.
- Keep account health, renewal dates and notes current in our CRM.
What you’ll bring
- Several years managing pharmaceutical or life sciences accounts at a data, analytics, media or marketing technology company, or at a healthcare agency. Pharma experience is required.
- A record of renewing and growing enterprise accounts, with examples you can walk us through.
- A working knowledge of how pharma marketing is reviewed and bought, across both HCP and DTC channels.
- Comfort explaining data, models and measurement to marketers, analysts and procurement teams alike.
- The confidence to lead executive relationships and to deliver difficult news well.
Nice to have
- Relationships with brand, media or analytics leaders at pharmaceutical companies or healthcare agencies.
- Experience with HCP audiences or privacy-safe patient audiences.
- Experience turning a pilot into a multi-year agreement.
Junior Account Executive
You’ll help our clients get the most out of Moonbrush: keeping their projects moving, answering their questions, preparing their reports and spotting where we can do more for them. It’s an early-career role on our client success team for someone who has already worked at a SaaS company or an agency, and who wants to learn enterprise account management inside a growing company.
What you’ll do
- Support a set of client accounts day to day, alongside our senior account executives.
- Keep client projects on schedule: data files, audience deliveries, campaign launches and reports.
- Prepare client reports and business review materials, and help present them.
- Answer client questions quickly, and know when to bring in our data or product teams.
- Spot renewal risks and growth opportunities early, and raise them with the team.
- Keep accounts, contacts and next steps current in our CRM.
What you’ll bring
- Experience at a SaaS company or an agency, in account management, client services, sales or another client-facing role. This is required.
- Clear, confident writing, and comfort on the phone and on video.
- Curiosity about how marketing works and why people buy.
- Organization and follow-through: your accounts and notes stay current without anyone asking.
- A habit of learning fast and asking good questions.
Nice to have
- Experience working with marketing or media teams.
- Familiarity with programmatic advertising, audience data or analytics.
- Experience with HubSpot or another CRM.
Project Manager
You’ll keep our client work on track, from kickoff to results. Each engagement brings together data, modeling, creative and media, often across a client’s own teams and agencies, and you’ll make sure everyone knows what’s due, when and why. It’s a role for an organized, steady project manager who likes working where data meets marketing.
What you’ll do
- Plan and run client engagements: kickoff, timelines, deliverables and status, from the first data file to the results readout.
- Coordinate our data, product and client teams with the client’s own teams and agencies.
- Track scope, risks and dependencies, and raise issues early with a clear recommendation.
- Run weekly client check-ins, and keep clear notes on decisions and next steps.
- Make sure every campaign launches with its holdout in place and its measurement plan agreed.
- Improve how we deliver: templates, checklists and the way work passes between teams.
What you’ll bring
- Three or more years managing client projects at an agency, a marketing technology company or a data or analytics firm.
- Experience coordinating technical and non-technical teams against fixed timelines.
- Comfort with data projects: file transfers, onboarding, quality checks and reporting.
- Clear writing, and the confidence to keep clients and colleagues on schedule.
- Fluency with project tools such as Asana, Jira or Monday.
Nice to have
- A PMP or similar certification.
- Experience with healthcare, higher education or other regulated clients.
- Experience with media campaigns or audience activation.
Senior Sales Partner
You’ll bring Moonbrush to the companies and agencies you already know, open the door, and work with our team to close the deal. It’s an independent, commission-only role on your own schedule, with an aggressive commission structure on the revenue we collect from the clients you bring in. It suits a senior seller with an established network who wants to add a distinctive offer to what they sell.
What you’ll do
- Find and qualify companies that could use behavioral intelligence, and register each opportunity with us before you reach out.
- Introduce prospects to Moonbrush and set up meetings with decision-makers.
- Work with our sales lead through discovery, proposal, proof of concept and contract.
- Keep your opportunities current in our CRM, and tell us what you’re hearing from the market.
- Hand new clients to our account team, who own delivery and renewals, and stay on as a relationship contact when it helps.
What you’ll bring
- An existing network of marketing, data or media decision-makers in agencies, higher education, pharma and healthcare, financial services, publishing or consumer brands. This is required.
- A record of selling data, analytics, marketing technology or advertising services to enterprises or agencies.
- The discipline to run your own pipeline and keep your records current.
- Care with claims: you describe Moonbrush with our approved materials and never promise what we haven’t confirmed in writing.
- Your own business setup. You work as an independent contractor and manage your own taxes and costs.
Nice to have
- Experience selling to pharmaceutical, healthcare or higher education buyers.
- Experience building a referral or partner channel.
- Experience with HubSpot.
